June 17th 2026

We had a wonderful soft opening on Tuesday, June 16th! It was great to see so many happy, familiar faces and a lot of delicious strawberries.

Due to Wednesday's poor weather forecast—with rain expected in both the morning and afternoon—we will be closed on June 17th.

​

We will reopen on Thursday, June 18th, for morning picking from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, or until we are picked out. It is still very early in the season, and our best fruit is yet to come! We will post more hours after Thursday's picking, so please look for an update around 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 18th.

​

Pricing & Availability:

• U-Pick Strawberries: $3.90 per pound.

• Pre-Picked Strawberries: We will not have any pre-picked strawberries this week. We plan to have them available on Monday, June 22nd, but we will not take any orders until that day. Pre-picked strawberries are sold in 5-pound boxes for $35.

June 16th 2026

After 15 minutes and one happy aunt, we finally have a full strawberry pail! This means we will be open tonight, June 16th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for strawberry picking (or until we are picked out). We will post more hours after we finish picking tonight.

​

We will have additional hours this week depending on the weather—if it is raining, we cannot open—and how fast the strawberries ripen. Due to the cool weather, the strawberries are ripening slowly and growing bigger. This is just the very start of strawberry season, and the majority of the berries will be ready next week.

U-pick strawberries are sold by the pound for $3.90.

​

We will not have any pre-picked strawberries today, June 16th, or Wednesday, June 17th. We may have some on Thursday, but they will more likely be available next week, starting June 22nd. Please note that we only take pre-picked orders on the day of pickup. Keep checking our Facebook posts to see when pre-picked strawberries become available.

As a reminder, no dogs or pets are allowed at the farm.

🍓 Strawberry season is officially launching this week in Nowthen, MN! The recent cool weather is sizing up the berries and locking in their sweetness. While the exact opening day is still being decided, it will happen sometime over the next few days.

June 11th 2026

Strawberry season is just around the corner! The fields are packed with green fruit, and the first hints of red are finally popping up. It looks like it is going to be an incredible harvest. We are still about a week away from opening, and we are steadily ticking things off our long pre-opening to-do list. This week’s cool weather (June 11th–18th) is actually a blessing—it will give the berries more time to grow big and juicy instead of rushing the ripening process. We will start updating our website daily as opening day gets closer. See you all very soon!

May 22nd 2026: ​

Work on the farm has kept us busy. We will have 12.5 acres of strawberries to pick this year and the strawberry plants are looking great. With the cooler weather the season might start a few days later than normal (After june 16th?). We will not know the exact date until the day or two before we open. When we get to full bloom we will post again. Looking forwards to see everyone in the patch!
